  • Removing the PTO Flywheel from 580 White

I failed to remove the PTO flywheel before the engine was completely disassembled. Now I have to replace an o-ring on the crankshaft bearing nearest to this flywheel, and have to remove it. How do you recommend doing this? The manual that I have recommends mounting a puller on the front flywheel and turning the PTO flywheel off. However, it does not go into detail. I cannot see any bolts or anything else holding the PTO flywheel, so should I remove it using the impeller tool?

You need to put the crank in a large vise to hold it.

I did this myself . Even though I had a big vise and a big table,I had to apply heat to the fly wheel to break it loose.
