  • Crank Bearings

My engine seized up because the crank bearings rusted up due to salt water. The crank shaft is in good shape but I need to replace the bearings. I don't see how I would be able to press the new bearings on if I just bought new ones. Would it be worth the extra cost to just swap my crank shaft out with a remanufacutred one with new bearings already pressed on it. If so does anybody know who to contact at bombardier to do it, or does anybody have any other suggestions

    Thanks,
    Kevin

You can't just press on new bearings - the crank must be rebuilt. We have them trued and welded, ready to go.
