  • Temp buzzer keeps going off

This is for a 92 SP.
Can you tell me why my temp buzzer keeps going off?
I have replaced the sensor in the cyl. head 2 times.
The cyl does not feel hot, hot.
I have disabled the connection to the buzzer.

    Thanks

    Bluebyu,
Most of the temp sensors from those models have a screw that you can adjust that effects the sensitivity. It is right on top where the wire attaches. Try to keep the thermocoupler that protrudes into the water jacket clean.
The beeper only sounds when the unit switches to ground out the connection. If adjusting the sensor isn't working for you, you probably need a new sensor.
