  • 657 oil injection removal, crank oil bath

I removed the oil injection from my 93 XP. There is an oil bath for the crank. How do I get oil to there now?

What you need to do is either leave the oil tank in place with a little oil in it, and still have the two oil feed lines to the case connected....or just connect the two oil feed lines to each other, making sure you leave a 6" airspace in the lines to allow for expansion.

Also as a side note, either way you go the oil will need to be changed periodically since no new oil is being added to the resevoir to replace what was being used by the injection.
