  • Correct oil to use

This is what happens when you don't use the recommended oil in your ski.

This Sea-Doo 951 DI needed the high synthetic but didn't receive it. Instead it has a thick carbon deposit layer on the valve edge and a huge slimey, gooey, valve-slowing layer of oil sludge all over it in a very short time.

The XPSII (replaced the DI oil) is supposed to be much better for that. Make sure your oil pump is correctly adjusted also - you shouldn't have that much buildup under normal circumstances.
