I just purchased a 2002 Polaris Virage TX and I am wondering if I should use synthetic oil or conventional oil in my new machine. Is syntheic oil worth the extra cost or does it do nothing more than conventional oil ? I am trading in my 1998 Polaris SLTH with a seized crank. ( see my earlier posting 'seized crank bearings ??' ) I always used synthetic oil in my SLTH but apparently it did not help my bearings any :( So cost aside, will my new machine benefit from synthetic oil ? Or will it just make my wallet lighter??
