I am trying to replace a 750 motor in a 95' SL750. The crank went bad so I purchased a good motor from a 93' SL750. I switched Ignition system from the 95' motor to the 93' motor and encountered a problem. The 93' motor has different cooling systems the the 95' it has two pipes at the bottom of the block where the 95' did not. The question I have is can I block off the two lines at the bottom of the 93' block and use the 95 exhaust manifold and pipe and run all cooling lines like the 95' with the 93' motor? I know it is a little mixed up but I would like to keep the boat as close to the stock configuration as possible.
