  • TXi stalls after starting

Need help w/02' TXi. Stalls after starting when start/stop switch is released. If switch is held for 5 to 6 seconds, engine will run normal after 4th or 5th try. Will then start normally until left off for approx 30+ min. Need advise on fix and is this destroying my starter?
    Thanks everyone.

If this is the fuel injected engine all you can do is bring it to a dealer to have them diagnose it unless you know someone with a dealer computer

Hello All, Sorry my update took so long. It took ME 10 days to get my boats to the dealer. Yes that's plural. In those 10 days my 2nd identical TXi developed the indentical problem. The dealer took approx. 2 1/2 weeks to repair them. They were fixed under warranty but there is a service bulletin on this condition (sorry I don't know the TSB #). The repair involved splicing diode (obtained from Polaris) into the wiring harness.
Last weekend my wife and I went riding on Lake Mohave and the TXis ran flawlessly.
        See you at the River.
