sl 900 won't rev out

I bought this machine with blown motor. installed a sbt motor and the machine revs up slow and not much power. I un hooked all the sensors to eliminate the limp mode and no difference...help ..please.

clean the carbs then and make sure you have good fuel supply.

I think you still have a carb issue.

Are you sure the fuel pump is working? Disconnect the return line and make sure the restrictor is in it. Turn over the engine you should have fuel pouring out the return fitting on the carb rail.

Did you clean or replace the internal filters and what did you set the carbs to?

High screws, Low screws, Main jet, pilot jet, Pop off pressure?

Take a look at the plugs. My guess is that Dank is right with the carbs. Maybe they just need to be jetted? Is that a possibility? Also, is the exhaust free? No broken baffles? No pinched hose to the can?
