OK just stated working on a 99 SLTX with the 1050 motor in it that is haveing this problem.
It will not start up not even a backfire. The starter spins over the motor fine and there is 120psi in each cylinder. I put a little premix down each carb but still nothing. All spark plugs have spark and I checked the crank for twist all ok.
This is what I think, either the flywheel has spun on the crank or a ignition part has failed. I will check the flywheel tomorow but if it is an ignition part which one would be most likely to cause the timeing to be off? Is there a way to check the timeing with a light?
