  • 900 zxi cylinders

Hi, I have taken my 900zxi apart and had a couple of questions. The #1 piston has a "b" on it and the other two have a "c". From what i was told, the "b" means that the pistons is one size bigger then the "a" piston and the "c" is one size bigger then the "b". The question is how much more could the cylinders go. If i need to have the cylinders worked on will there be enough material??? I hope this makes a little sense. Thanks for the help

The a b c d on the piston is the size of that piston to that cyl. you should only use the correct piston to match the same letter on the cyl. Do not mix and try non matching cyls and pistons..

I'm looking for a difinitive answer for that question. I do know that Kawasaki, on stock sleeves, specs a max of 0.050", or, two oversizes on those pistons.

many times manufactuers will mark piston's or parts for finally fitting with color codes
