  • Performance head on 750 ZXI Questions

OK, the 1-year warranty is about to run out on the SBT engine and I'm thinking about getting my spare head cut down to increase compression.

    1) Does anyone know who could you this work for me (Aqua Sports, Group K, WCM, PPG)?

    2) Would any additional work be involved (rejetting carbs, etc.)?

    3) Do I use a stock gasket with the cut head or something else?

    4) Should I change plugs to BR9ES's?

    5) What sort of performance gains am I going to see?

    6) Any additional concerns I should be aware of?

    Thanks in advance,

    Craig

www.watercraftmagic.com can either do it or recommend someone good for Kawi.

No carb work is needed for increased compression.

Plugs may need to be changed, it depends ont he head design.

Stock gaskets work unless the new design uses an o-ring.

Performance gains are better low end grunt.

You will need to use premium+ all the time.
