  • 750 ZXI - Whirring Noise

I've noticed over the past two months that there's a strange noise coming from my 750 ZXI that I've never noticed before.

It sounds like a 'whirring' noise. Sort of mechanical-sounding, and varies with throttle. I think I first noticed this after the water coolant line came off the solenoid that rests under the steering glove box in the hull. Could they be related?

I'm unable to trace this noise, but it's always there. Anyone ever notice a similar noise in their ski?

    Thanks,

    Craig

It could be a pump bearing.

But it sounds as if it's coming from the engine compartment...

If it was a pump bearing, I'm assuming I'd hear it better if I ran the ski on the hose for a few minutes, correct?
