  • Do you buy cores?

I put a new engine in my 88 WR500, and have a core, and bunch of other parts left over. Do you take them as credit or buy them? I have no use for it, but I might want something for my other ski sometime.

We buy most all, except the very old, which we have plenty stock of. We do not publish our prices, however you can always fax us your inventory list and we give you a quote.

              Hey Guys,
I have a 97' GP1200 crankcase that is in pretty rough shape my rod snapped and went through it but I beleive you guys could fix it. If I order a new short block from SBT would you guys accept my old crank and case? Also how long would it take if I decided to have you just fix it, and if I didnt have a core to give you what is my price on the motor?
              Jake

We don't sell without a core.

We don't do shop services like welding repair, only on a sale.

If the damage is not to a mating surface yes, we could repair it. If you can call in or send a picture you can get an estimate for the additional weld charge in advance.
