  • PTO removal

    I am taking apart a 580 , motor, I ordered a new 580 from you this morning.

I have done everything I can to get the PTO off the old motor. I have the impeller remover turning it counter clock wise and I can't get it to budge a bit.

Any super secrets would be extremely helpfull
Thanks for All the Help !<br />Blaine

Try using a lot of heat on it, and a longer pipe for leverage.

I will assume I am suppose to heat the "shaft" of the PTO?

Heat the PTO itself so it expands off the crank.
