Ok, here's the dilemma. I reciieved a warranty motor last year to replace my original SBT motor.

I went to put the plastic driveshaft in for the oil pump(new oil pump) and well, it wouldn't go in. Took a flashlight and got down in there and the crank is not notched for the plastic gear.

What to do, my warranty expired?

There are two styles of adaptor - call in Monday morning and we can send you the other kind, that goes over the nut.

One last question......what nut are you talking about, the flywheel nut? 97 XP. And how much is that adaptor?

Forgot to ask, and i'm sure i'll have to.....that different style adaptor, i take it the mag cover needs to come off so it can slide in the oppisite way....is that right?
