  • warranty?

    I got my 2nd sbt motor last summer after the 1st one only held up for about 30 hours, but was out of the warranty period. I bought the premium package motor, but this one blew after only 4 tanks of gas. It didn't get installed until September so I broke it in in May and after the 4th tank it ate a cylinder. Is there anything that SBT will do besides covering the cost of the new motor? It is still going to cost me another $500 to have it installed. That is a little steep for only 4 hours of riding. I am extremely dissapointed.

    No, we do not cover labor. What was the first warranty diagnosis on the failure? WHat caused your OEM engine to fail? What other repairs have you done? Who winterized it for storage and what was done in May before it was ridden again?
