i am looking into buying a new motor, my engine has a whole in it due to the fact that a rod went through the casing. i will get pictures for you later.

my question being, I am going to buy a 787 seadoo motor, but am i only paying $799 or do i have to pay to fix the case as well. if so where can i just buy a motor and not do a swap or not get charged $600+ for the whole in the core?

    thanks

    Re: question

Yes you are charged for repairing the damage if possible, or the replacement case if not. The only place to but without a core is new from a deal or used on your own.

      Re: question

ok, so either buy new or pay alot of money for the repair.

if i snap off some pictures and send them to yall, you can give me a ball park estimate of the repair right? Can i get the core repaired if i send it in instead of getting a new one?

      thanks

        Re: question

Yes you can send pics to pictures@sbtontheweb.com

If it's repairable you're charge the repair fee. If not you can find a good component on your own or pay the replacement charge for it.

This is all detailed with example pictures on our website here: http://www.sbtontheweb.com/program.htm#addcharges

          Re: question

so does this mean that i am able to send in my core to get it repaired and welded? or do i still have to buy a core, and yall just charge me for the weld repair?

if not then what would the price of a seadoo 787 run me w/o a core swap? in other words, to just buy a new engine, or rebuilt engine and not send my busted one in?

            Re: question

You don't buy a core. The core is your old engine that is exchanged for the new one. If your core is not rebuildable, see the discussion above.

We do not sell without exchange.

If your core needs some welding you are charged the price fo the engine and the price of the welding, that's it.
