I bought a "cylinder exchange" from SBT for a Kawasaki ZXI 900.
The kit was to my door in two days and absolutely included everything I would need - and few things I didn't - like carb kits.
I compared boring my existing cylinders and doing a top end kit to the price of the "cylinder exchange" - most shops want $60/cyl to do the bore / hone work. That brings the top end price with bore very close to that of the cylinder exchange.. throw in carb kits and it's actually cheaper, never mind the time that I saved!
I did have one issue - I requested new wrist pin bearings be included with my cylinder exchange kit. SBT forgot them. One phone call and they showed up on my door the very next day via FedEx.
If every company was as responsive as SBT - the world would be a much better place.
Further compliment - instructions are excellent with the full engine kits and obviously they pay a very well trained technical staff quite a bit to answer all our "newbie" questions here online!
