Bill I have a 96 XP with a New SBT engine and R & D trim tabs. I need three mph to keep up with my buddies on wave raider 1100s. I am currently running by Stalker gun 57.6mph. Can this be done without major mods. Killer GPR is my big money hole, I would like to keep this one simple and reliable. Jim Milliken

Jim,
A bolt-on exhaust system like the one from Factory pipe Products, either Spec1 or better yet, Spec2 will do exactly that. If you are not impatient, you can get one off this internet used.

Keep the head stock and it will greatly increase the life of the motor and allow you to run pump fuels. Re-jet the oem carbs and use aftermarket filters.

Have Impros repitch your prop for you. If you can find one, use an R&D Venturi nozzel, 83mm works good with a 15x23 slimline/solas type impellor.

You can easily surpass the 60 mph mark with a setup like this.
