  • Pipe for polaris sl 750

Are there any aftermarket pipes for the polaris sl 750. Or maybe a polaris 780 that could be cutstom fit? Any pipes at all??? Also can someone point me out to all the mods that can be done to a sl 750 like, Heads, carbs, pipes that kinda stuff. Is it possible to mill the heads to get more compression? Any kinda of mod info would be GREAT! Thanks

Best bet is to use the dry pipe from a previous year sl 650 if you can find it.

There were a few sets of triple pipes produced by PSI a while back. I've seen a few of them float around for sale from time to time, but the 650 pipe is the best if you don't need the pain of maintaining triple pipes.

You can send your heads, jugs, and cooling rail to group-k, they will do a port job & compression raise on them for you, and can also modify your cooling rail. www.groupk.com They can also mod your carbs for you, if you don't want to go the pro 785 route listed below.

You can send your crank / rods to SBT to swap for a new welded crank w/ new bearings. Welding will prevent the dreaded "crank twisting"

If you want to spend the bucks, you can use the OEM carbs & intake manifold from the PRO 785. You will have to re-jet them to work on that ski setup, but they also will correct the fueling problem on the SL750 engine. You will also have to be creative on the throtle cable.. but the SL750 cable WILL work. If you do that, you can also pick up the R&D power plenum air filter and adapters for the pro785 carbs.

You can use either the v-force Delta 2 reeds, which have a higher rate of wear. Or you can get a set of Carbon Tech reeds for your factory reed cages / stuffers. I prefer the latter if you are not looking for every last bit of available power and response.

You can get the 3/8" reed cage spacers to add to the setup as well, however using those and the 785 carb setup will put the entire assembly right next to the hull and require re-routing a factory hose stay on that hull's wall.

You can also use the CDI from the '97? SL 785 PRO.

You can remove the thermostat & plunger on the cooling rail for more cooling capacity if you spend most of your time at full throtle and not idling around in the no-wake zone.

Get a skat-trak 13/18 swirl prop, skat-trak's 6 vane D-75 stator, and install the 4" extended dominator pump / drive shaft (this is the 4" extended cooling rail, extended trim rod, 4" wear ring, and 4" extd drive shaft, and either the 4" extd steering cable (or a custom 4" extended adapter from Randy). all from a later model polaris ski. Randy @ www.watcon.com usually has these parts new or used to complete this conversion)

R&D [or pure polaris performance] intake grate, ocean pro ride plate, beach house or pure polaris performance sponsons.

    Hope that helps!
