would it be better to mount the ecwi soleniod closer to the spraybar on the pipe. just wondering if that would make any differance, in rpm, i seen it done on another guys race boat

Although FPP has said that the silicone hose between the ECWI and the headpipe need to be exactly the length that the hose they supply with the kit is, I have always mounted my solenoids nearest the headpipe as I could, figuring that there is less water to dribble into the system when the valve closes, thus less time to make the transition from wet pipe to dry pipe.
Your results may vary.....
