  • Seadoo Xp Blown Exhaust Hose

I have a 98 seadoo xp with alot of work done to engine. I had one of the hose`s that goes to the bottom of my coffman pipe brake on me last week. I replaced it and when I used it this week my outlet exaust fitting was burned up and my exaust hose was collapsed any ideas and suggestions. Is it possible that my exaust hose and exaust fitting broke due to the hose brakeing at the pipe.

Of course it is because the hose broke, that is what supplies the only water to those hoses and couplers after the ECWI shuts off. The Coffman pipe, like the oem pipe, is a waterjacketed dry pipe on a 951 motor. The oem pipe gets some water just below the headpipe and from the water regulator on the muffler, but the Coffman is dry all the way to the stinger water fitting, which supplies cooling water for the muffler and couplers.
