  • 920 VE Question??

Have 920 VE cylinder on 89mm bore with stock 787 crank, do I need to cut a rotary disc to suit the port timing? Does the crankcases need to be ported to suit the timing and duration as well?

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: 920 VE Question??

The answers are no and no. You do not need to port your cases or change your RV timing unless you want to. The motor will run fine without doing either.

Thanks for that.. I must have some other issue to resolve.
Just wondering if you have parts for this set up still available... domes, head etc?

      cheers

        Re: 920 VE Question??

I have one set of 14.5 CR Miller head domes. That is it, no other parts.

Micro Touch made the VE clyinders and VE heads, call them.

I have 10135-54cc, I am unsure if the domes you have will fit my headshell? If it does suit, I am keen to buy them.

                Re: 920 VE Question??

Yes they will fit your head shell. But, these inserts will raise your compression ratio and require higher octane fuel, not pump gas.
