so whats the deal guys/gals I have 25 hours on mine and have had zero problems (knock on wood) unless you count the check engine light from day 1 that was the knock retard sensor ... I read on many sights people bashing these things about reliablity but i m learning the people that are bashing dont even own one!!! i would like to know from other owners ..not someone who knows someone with one,, but yet from other owners, what your opinion is on this new boat ?!?!? I had a 96 xp modified and if i had to do it all over again i would no doubt get my rxp again ..the only real question i have is i have a few chips in the hull from hitting stuff i guess i didnt see in the dirty *** delaware in phila so id like to know the propler way to fix them asap so they dont get bigger .. but reliablity has been a plus and i have yet to been walked or beat for that matter by anyting on the river around here .. no im not saying that i own the fastest waverunner just saying so far no one has passed me ... so lets hear your problems , i am very curious on what i should keep my eye out on mine for ..

Ill keep you posted with the progress of my ski. Just traided in my 93 RXDI for a RXP. Picking it up on Saturday. As for the scrataches to your ski the general opinion down here in Melbourne Australia is to use 2 pac products to fix the product. Basically 2 pac bog / primer / paint will give you a factory finish all the time. Please note that I am no expert in this area and I'm only going by what i have read. Not taking anything away from this site im a memeber of another pwc site called www.ozpwc.com which has a forum and many other interesting topics. I think under the heading TECHNICAL there is a another folder "Technical Help and Assistance" that talks about hull repairs. There are a few links so if you like have a read. Hope this might help you....
