Bad assumption, you don't know the inside story, there is no point in trying to assume anything because you don't know.

Once it was brought to attention, it was, but GP never tried to bring it to anyone's attention, it was done by a pwctoday member.

          Re: What's happening at PWCtoday?

Thank God for SBT...I need my PWC news/forums fix from somewhere, and that usually means visiting both SBT and PWCToday every single day. I was about to close a deal on a trailer down here in Florida via private message on the PWCToday forums, and now I can't get this guys email address from the PM. Doh! If he's on here, hopefully he'll find me (under the same name) and we'll seal the deal.

Hey TS, save a premium 1100 motor for me wouldja? I just finished my carb rebuild with your awesome kits myself <cue dangerous music> and will be firing it up hopefully this weekend. :D

More BS - but then that never changes. Also note they are deleting the heck out of the other thread already! SO predictible!

                  Re: What's happening at PWCtoday?

OMG, Frewman said "It's nice to see both sides of the story". What a JOKE. That is ONE side of the story, their side. No one is allowed to post the other side, unless you want to get banned or if you do, it will get conveniently edited or removed.

                  Give me a break!

BTW, I posted on that thread. It didn't get ugly till the cronies from SDN came over and agitated the pot.

SuperJett went to SD.nut to give an explaination and he got the boot immediately. RQ was banned from SD.nut, as were others with a legitimate issue or bad experience. Again, give me a break

                    Re: What's happening at PWCtoday?

My only hope (TS are you listening?) is that all the folks that are now coming to this site for their "PWC forum fixes" respect it for what it is...a place to trade information and talk about PWCs and other subjects, all the while in a CIVIL MANNER. That's why SBT is the main site I go to, that and Go-Polaris.net. Both great sites: nice folks, no harshness, no banning (well maybe sometimes, ha ha), no censoring or removal of posts, no lawsuits(?)...

Please keep the site clean and friendly :D

Just my opinion. Carry on! :)

                        Re: What's happening at PWCtoday?

The truth of the matter is that the PWCtoday thread that got them into trouble was just plain nonsense. It should have been nipped in the bud and deleted, not just locked because all the damage was still there to read.

Regardlss who you may dislike, there is no call for bashing other people. Here in America we are supposed to follow the golden rule. The bashers proved themselves to be sick puppies. The Site moderators didn't do their job. The offenders should have been banned forever, not just a few days.

This whole nonsense of the first amendment is just that. Our forefathers must be rolling in their graves. PWCtoday was so intent on not censoring their posters that they let pure garbage be spread. The garbage went way beyond trying to help fellow jetskiiers, it was pure hate with no redeeming value.

I follow many many internet forums and I find that Integrity and professionalism are generally the rule. PWCtoday let those very important traits get lost.

I follow this forum frequently as well. I just hope those here don't lose site of those virtues as well.

...and predictibly the main thread regarding this is now completely deleted on SDN, after too many anti-PPG/SDN posts were made to it.

People, take serious note of the postied Bombardier Information. You have every right to complain about one of thier Dealer's Public Actions. Emails are ok, but phone calls are what really count up there.

Is this business truly this divided? How will PWC prevent this from happening again? Tell there moderators to let no post go unchecked. This sucks. I found this SBT and PWC because I had a broken ski and got hooked on the forums. Know my ski is fixed but the forums are broken. Both problems; Human Error.
