Hi,
I am in the market for an entry level family ski with a certain amount of options. The two I am leaning towards are the new '05 VX100 Deluxe or an '04 GTI-RFI LE. The Seadoo is about $700 cheaper being as its an '04. Both are equipped aobut the same. I will be using the skis for family fun and will be towing tubes, wakeboards, and skiers. Both skis put out 110 HP. The VX is a 4 stroke and the GTI is a 2 stroke. I cannot find alot of reviews on either, but what I have read shows the GTI quicker from 0-30, a slightly faster top speed, more storage, and much quieter(to my surprise). I got this info from boattest.com. Of the reviews I have read, both are getting good marks. From what I can gather, 2 strokes are on there way out, even though the Seadoo has clean technology. Is now the time to bite the bullet and buy a 4 stroke or is the Seadoo a good deal? Longevity isn't a major concern because I live in Montana and our watercraft season is pretty short. Any comments would be greatly aprreciated.
