2004 SeaDoo GTI RFI good/bad? RAVE?

Hey gang,

What's the story on these GTI RFI boats? Are they problematic or something? The local shop has a few 2004's still on the floor really cheap. That seems like nobody is buying them for some reason. Are they junk? Thanks in advance.

And no, I'm not trying to be an internet troll because I own 2 Polaris boats. I'm seriously considering buying one of these GTI RFI jets, but I thought I read somewhere (can't find it now) that the RFI engines aren't the most reliable. Can anyone confirm/deny? THanks

The 787 can be quite relible if properly cared for from the start and all maintaince done on schedule. And yes this boat is a RAVE ski. You will have to clean the raves every fifty hours but that is not a problem.

What is RAVE? And what does it take to clean it/them?

I've got a 04 GTI LE RFI and I'm just curious.

I don't see anything in the manual on RAVE.
