  • Homebuilt Trailer Help

I have a 4X8 trailer that I would like to make a universal trailer out of. It is a flatbed trailer right now with motorcycle rails on it. As I ride dirt bikes also. Well, now I have a jetski (SL750 Polaris) and would like to be able to haul it on the same trailer. Has anyone ever done what I want to do ? If so, do you have any pics and/or prints or advice ?
    Thanks so Much,
    Raz

Simply take some 2x4s or 2x6s, cover them in cheap carpet, bolt them to the trailer. Bingo, you got bunks for your ski.
Depending on how deep of a V shape your ski is, you may need to use 2x6 instead of 2x4. However....I have found that 2x4s seem to do the trick.
