  • Battery Charger

Couldn't find a place to post stupid questions, so...I need to purchase a battery charger. There's inexpensive ones and not so inexpensive chargers. Any suggestions on what I should/shouldn't purchase in something as basic as a charger? Old one bit the dust.

      Re: Battery Charger

Get one that does both 2 and 10 Amp and is automotic. Walmart or any auto store sells them for around $60.

        Re: Battery Charger

If you are needing something to keep a jet ski battery charged and do not need it for anything else, try a battery tender JR. You can find these on Ebay for $18.

          Re: Battery Charger

I got a float charger at Harbour Freight on sale for like $3.
My question is, Should the battery be removed (and placed on a board) from the craft for storage or is it ok to leave it connected and in the craft with the float charger on it?
How many seasons should a properly maintained battery last?

            Re: Battery Charger

OK, so forget the second question. But is it ok to leave the battery connected to the ski with the float charger on it?

Yes, you can leave the battery in the ski and on the float charger.
