I just bought a 550 Kawasaki SX with PJS EVERYTHING FOR $50. YES $50. The reason is the previous owner could not get it working. The ski has changed hands like 5 times NON-OP. I AM DETERMINED TO GET IT OPERATING AGAIN!
The problem is that the stock wiring harness has been pulled and a PJS ignition box installed. When I got it it would not spark so I looked and the box was already half taken apart. There are a bunch of wires.
There is a starter solenoid which has 2 oranges and a white coming off of it. There is a HUGE YELLOW COIL with 2 plug holes for the spark plugs and a post for a wire on each side. Currently there is a white wire on the left and red wire on the right.
Got out my Multimeter and the red wire is 12v constant the white wire reads 3v constant...
WHAT SHOULD I DO? SKI CRANKS OVER BUT WON'T SPARK???
