How to yank the flywheel on a kawasaki 550?

I put the socket on the nut but ~DUH~ it just turns the motor over when I try to unscrew it?

THERE HAS GOT TO BE A TRICK TO THIS!

Put rope down the front spark plug hole or a thick rag in the open exhaust port to stop the engine from turnign over. Use of a little heat and/or an impact gun greatly helps things along.
