  • high/low speed carb ajustment

I have a 1997 900stx and it seems that the only way to adjust the high/low screws is to remove the carbs.I should be getting my motor back from SBT soon, and I want to make sure that I won't have a problem with a too lean(melted the piston) condition. I ordered carb rebuild kits for all three so I'll preset them before I install them, but once there on the motor it seem impossible to readjust them on the motor.
    Any help would be great,
    Bud.

Some are extremely difficult to get to, true. Often removing the airbox and using small tools such as a 90 deg. screwdriver or needle nose pliers works best. I'm not aware of any that require carb removal.
