  • Newbie with rocks in my pipe!

    Hi-
Bought a "91 650TS three weeks ago. It worked great first time out. Next morning son took it- made him smile.:) Two of his friends took it out next (Puget Sound) and sucked rocks into the jet. Bummer:( , sad Dad. Bought service manuals and owners manuals read about keeping it at lest 2 ft. off the bottom when running- wish the seller had mentioned that. Spending money on new rotor and stator.

Question- Are there any modifications/aftermarket products that would reduce this expensive risk?

    Thanks.

Nothing cheaper than makig sure it is in water two to three feet deep when launching.

Any type of restrictive screen just will not work at all.
