Engine clean

recently bought a kawk 150 runs great but could do with a engine bay clean, is it ok to steam clean engine and engine bay and if so wot precautions should i take?also can u give any advice on steps to take to winterize ski...thx in advance for any info.....

As long as you stay away from the intakes and any electrical equipment it's ok. If it's a low pressure steam clean there shouldn't be any problem - but don't use any high pressure washers.
