js 550 engine specs ?!?

I need specs for my 89 JS 550 engine, Ring end gap and cylinder diameter as well as tolerances. I have stock pistons and I just bought a cyl on ebay that I am fairly certain is stock bore. I just want to be sure before I throw it together.

Does anybody at least know the end gap?

ring end gap "free" is .315"
ring gap installed is .007-.015"
piston dia is 2.948-2.949"
cylinder bore is 2.955-2.956"

those are set up clearances from a clymer shop manual. all you need to do is set piston to cylinder clearance at a minimum of .007, 87 oct pump gas compression of no higher than 150psi. ive blown a many 550's up doing it wrong. change compression by different head gasket thicknesses, fiber, copper, thin metal. pretty much the engine is set up very sloppy since it is a cast iron cylinder.
