  • Ultra 150 Compression

I realize that I am dealing with Constant Velocity carbs but what is a good cranking compression and what is a minimum?

    Thanks

    Re: Ultra 150 Compression

You should see 110-150. The main thing is you don't want 10% difference between each jug. I don't think any stock compression Ultra will see 150, but thats what the specs are.

      1100stx

I have a 1100STX kawasaki. Is bored .81mm, it got a cool head and keihin cdkII 38mm. The carbs system is failing. When the motor is in idle injects fuel to the ventury of the secondand and thir carbs. It recently got new carburetor kits and Pop-off set its 50 psi. what could possibly cause this failure? What should i do?

Thats weird that there is a 40 psi range in the stock compression.
