900 zxi convert to pre mix??

anyone done this before? i have to use a mirror to even see the place where the block off plate goes.do i need to remove a bunch of other stuff? help help :emoticonr :emoticonc

I recently did this to my 1100Zxi. My carbs and oil tank were removed beforehand which made unbolting the pump and bolting the plate up much easier.

i think it goes in the front of the motor seems like it would much easier if the gas tank were removed but i think you got to pull the motor to get the gas tank out

You will have to pull the motor to remove the tank. No need for that. Use a mirror and feel around. Its only 2 bolts that hold the pump on. Then clean the mounting surface on the front cover and install the block off plate. About a 30 min job.
