I recently re-built my ZXI 1100 motor and added and alluminum head 31cc, and water box. I also got a cylinder replacement kit from SBT .20over. I replaced my 96 carbs with 98 CV carbs and am running pre-mix at 50:1. The problem is I am running too lean and there is no adjustment just jets. I have air filters that I can adjust with a screw, into my carb throats to limit the amount of air. Any suggestions if this would richen my mix, also the front cylinder is the one running too hot and has burned up so should I just run that cylinder rich or all 3, or should I just re-jet, if so too what numbers if anyone knows. I beleive my high jet is 165, and my low jet is 35. I do not think there are larger jets available?:emoticonb

    Re: Carbs

CV carbs only like having the stock F/A on them. Most likely the aftermarket filters is causing the slides not to open all the way. You can get larger jets, but I don't think that will help 100% it may improve the mixture but not make it perfect.

The best place I know to get jets for a 1100 would be performance Eng. They are closing, but I think the message board is still open. You may try posting there James or someone else might help you out with what you need.
