1100 STX DI Muffler Body Leaking

After a break in session of my new SBT motor, I noticed a lot of water in the hull. Hot water - not good. Took it home, hooked it up to the hose and found the muffler body is leaking. There's a pretty good sized crack right on the bottom.

Can this be welded or should I just replace it?

When I took it off I noticed small pools of water within the exhuast manifold. Is this normal?

i would replace it because it is soft aluminum.
