  • Bulkhead sealant

'86 JS550 Can anyone suggest a sealant? Excuse me if this is a stupid question, but regardless I still need advice. Looks like this has been caulked before, but needs it again. Also taken in some water in the hood, intake compartment a little seperated. I was thinking I need to caulk that some and then do some minor fiberglass work to hold it together.

P.S. Does anyone have any leads on hull braces?

I think the factory uses urethane caulk at the major seams. You can get a tube to fit a caulking gun at home depot. Once it hardens it is really tough stuff. If you just want to do some general touch up you could probably get by with silicone sealant or similiar stuff.
