need help fast

just bought a 90 500sx and when i turn it over it acts like it has a dead battery,but i charged it up and still nothin.so i went down and bought a new battery charged it and still same problem it acts like its got a dead batery.
any ideas before i kill this thing

Check your compression. Also try to crank it over without the plugs in, see how well it cranks then.

i pulled the plugs they were a little wet but when they are out the motor cranks fine.dont have a compression tester

Your choke may be stuck shut.

nope choke works fine the ski is in really good shape clean in and out i got it to fire up i tok the electrical box apart it looked clean so i put it back together now its firing up so my buddy and i are gonna jet up to the lake and see whats happening
