My Ultra 150 seems to have a slow crawl speed. Once I do get the hull out of the water though, I can get it up to about 60 mph in choppy water. Is this normal?

I have no clue what you are trying to describe by 'slow crawl speed'. Do you mean it has poor power at lower throttle positions? If so, do a compression check, and if that looks good (about 120/cylinder) rebuild the carbs.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.

When I say crawl speed, I mean how long it takes to get the hull on top of the water. On a side note, what rpm should it be idleing at? Right now I have it at 1500, but I think I should be closer to 2000.RobComment

Do you mean the engine revs up and you don't go, or does the engine not rev up?Comment

The engine revs up just fine, but I rev up to about 4-5000 rpms and it takes about 5-7 seconds for me to get up to about 30 mph. After that everything works just fine.RobComment
