900 zxi trim box

I finally got my new SBT engine in and the second day out the trim got to where it will barely move. With the trim box cover off I can see the end of the cable makes about a quarter of a turn then stops when you press the switch. The mechanic that installed the new engine sprayed some Bombe anti corrosive stuff in the box, as I found water in it while the engine was out. Today I took the cover back off and coated it with WD-40 and left it open to dry some. Any ideas on what might correct the issue?

I may have answered your question before about water reentering into the box. Replace the seal on the cable down buy the pump. Less than $4.00 good luck!!!!
