I have a 95 900zxi with some mild mods and love the ski...it's been sitting for a few weeks, and now wont start...battery is new and charged. when I hit the start button, all I get is a Click,leading me to think that the starter is bad. does anyone have any idea of what could be bad? It doesn't crank at all... anyone know where I could get a repair manual online?

Did the starter work okay before the new battery? If it did i would make sure you have a good connection. Also double check the new battery. I have seen new batteries that were bad (rare but happens). When I beleive i have starter trouble I run a jumper wire right to the starter from the battery. Good Luck!!!! -

My ski had some slight problems cranking (off and on) for a while, so I thought it could be a bad starter.....Comment

Check all your electrical connections. I had the same problem and it was paint between the starter and the block (corrosion would do the same).Comment
