No that is the "vain guide" they are more like 200-600 from Kawasaki depending on the model.

The bearing housing it the part that mounts to the rear bulkead of the engine bay that the driveshaft passes threw. You will also need the bearing and seals to install into the housing to make it work.

Here is a picture. I have a used one with good bearings and seals although you might not want to trust used seals. You may prefer to install new seals which is not a difficult job.

Oh, ok. I think I may need a new vane guide. The outer race of the old bearing that shattered in it is still stuck. I cannot seem to get it out to replace it with a new one. Any suggestions?

a little bit of heat from a torch, used cautiously on the housing, surrounding the bearing race...then try to tap the bearing race out again!

John, the torch idea sounds good. I do not have immediate access to a torch, but I am sure I can find one. About how long, and how hot, should I use the torch on the vane-guide? I do not want to warp it or anything. I was even thinking about drilling small holes into the race to weaken it, then punching it out.

Oh, and I corrected the great inventor's name. Thank you for the heads up, John.

A little off, but thank you. That is my wife, Kimberly, on my Kameleon painted 1100stx. I bought it from a friend via mail while I was deployed to Afghanistan. These are pics from when I first got back.
