Waterbox?

HI i have a 98 750 xi sport.
I wanted to change the waterbox because i have read that they make the skis very loud and throathy.
Yes loud and throaty is what i like!
So here is the question:
Can i put in a aftermarket waterbox, but still keep the stock exhaust, and not have to rejet it.
If this can be done is there any potential harm to the ski?

no, if you look under your electrical box you will see that the exhaust slips into the waterbox with a rubber coupler.
factory pipe made a pipe that uses the stock w/b and I also think R&D made one too
coffman made them to fit aftermarket w/b
but, although I haven't tried yet im sure you could shoehorn an sxi aftermarket pipe in there :emoticonw
