My ski is a 2003 Kawasaki STX-12F with only 200 hours. The problem just started, when the ski is at idle, after a few minutes, (like navigating through a no wake zone on intercoastals), it starts to overheat. The exhaust water at the front right of the ski starts to get hot, then hotter, then turns to steam, and shortly after the overheat warning goes off. I have checked for blockages, (none), and also brought it to several different Kawasaki dealers, who also checked for blocks, and impeller shaft damage and straightness, and they can't figure it out. If you just give it a little throttle, (7-10 mph), there is no problem at all, (like at idle it doesn't suck up enough water to keep it cool), Also it performs flawlessly in every other way, (plenty of power, etc). This problem just came out of nowhere, someone said they thought Kawasaki had put out a TSB on a exhaust manifold restriction possibly causing overheating, Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
