I wanted to know if you have ever seen where the washer that goes on the bendix gear and sets between the gear and flywheel cover needs to be removed after installing a new SBT engine. I only ask this because it seems I have some issues when I tighten the flywheel cover down. All I get is a clicking noise. This is the same when I bypass the starter silenoid and hook directly to the starter. I have installed a new starter and battery. I was just wondering if there was some mill work done to the case that required the washer to be removed. I can turn the engine freely with my hand and the starter turns the engine over but only when you have the flywheel cover lightly tightened. There doesn't appear to be anything in the way causing it to bind up either. Thanks

Please call in to warranty, we need to get you a new engine ASAP unfortunately. That only happens when the case has been milled too much - it should not have left like that, I appologize. 877 330 0231 ask for Warranty.
