Engine dies after 15 min of riding

I have a 94 750SSXI that dies after it heats up. WILL NOT DUPLICATE PROBLEM ON THE HOSE. I have replaced the coil & CDI unit, Plugs with new MSD upgrades still have problem. A friend says problem is in the Stator or pick up coil. Ohmed while cold and looks good. I havent checked after it starts dieing. A new stator is $264.95 cheapest Ive seen. Any one know of cheaper OEM pricing or a Aftermarket supsitute. I have rebuilt carbs and fuel system still have problem stator part number is 21003-3726......HELP
